Chapters 4 and 5 of Data Carpentry: R for data analysis and visualization of Ecological Data
- Katy compiled a program review from the students: What they thought so far in terms of; Start: What would you like them to start doing that you feel hasn’t been done yet. Stop: What isn’t helping you as far as input or comments etc. Continue: What are we doing that is helpful right now, and would like more of or expand on.
- Colin and Jason headed the statics questions and meta/data analysis. Talked about R, went over the basic use of it and how it could be used in our research. Gave the students a basic code which they could use and manipulate on their own to help answer some questions and build a few graphs independently.
- Asked students to upload their group created introduction written portion. Supervisors could work through student introduction and add corrections, comments, where more detail was needed etc.
