  • EC gave us a PowerPoint (presented by Helen) about scientific writing and how to create a passive or active voice in student writing.
  • Introduction was discussed in detail.
  • Changing the write-up scheme as a broad to narrow introduction to their thesis.
  • Focused along on the logic of their research questions.
  • Each student has a different set of questions to answer aside from the overall group.
  • From here each student was to divide off and work on the introduction separately to specifically target their own research questions and ideas.
